An agreement for the construction, the rehabilitation and the reconstruction of the water supply system in Delnice – Phase 1 was signed at the end of the February 2019. The contract was signed with the consortium: Godina gradbeništvo in druge storitve d.o.o. Kozina, Slovenija, ProAdria d.o.o. Ljubljana, Slovenija i 2eF, svetovanje v gradbeništvu d.o.o. Hrpelje Slovenija.
Technical Supervision of construction works is carried out by the consortium: Opatija projekt–hidro d.o.o. i Promacon d.o.o. Bjelovar.
Overall value of the construction and technical supervision is HRK 43,885,099.92, out of which the Swiss contribution is HRK 28,922,780.00. Works on the water supply system are expected to be completed in 24 months. The project includes the construction of water supply pipeline Brod na Kupi – Gusti Laz i Zamost Brodski – Golik, the reconstruction of the supply water pipeline in Brod na Kupi (Zapolje Brodsko), the reconstruction of the supply water pipeline CS Iševnica – VS Japlenški Vrh, the rehabilitation the main water pipeline CS Iševnica – VS Japlenški Vrh and the rehabilitation of the main water pipeline CS IŠevnica – VS Krivac and the rehabilitation of the supply water pipeline in Krivac in the total length of 20 km.
The new water supply pipelines, as well as the reconstructed ones will provide a stable water supply minimizing water loses and bursting of the pipelines. The main pipeline provides water supply to almost the entire area of Delnice, Mrkopalj municipality and Ravna Gora. There are no alternatives for these areas at the moment, and failures in this pipeline after the discharge of the water reservoirs lead to the cessation of water supply to all users.
